About Mmiri
Free financial tools, built for Nigerians
What is Mmiri?
Mmiri (pronounced mm-ee-ree) is the Igbo word for water — something essential, always moving, and available to everyone. That is exactly what we want Mmiri.ng to be: an essential, always-updated source of financial information for Nigerians, freely available to all.
We track the live parallel market exchange rate (the black market / aboki rate) alongside the CBN official rate, so you always know exactly what your naira is worth — and how big the gap between the two markets is.
Why we built this
Every Nigerian knows the struggle: the official rate says one thing, the street says another, and finding an up-to-date, trustworthy number is harder than it should be. Most rate sites are cluttered, slow, or stuck behind paywalls.
Mmiri is fast, clean, and free. No sign-up, no paywall, no ads cluttering the rates. Just the numbers you need, presented clearly.
